"Sweet Dreams"
"There were five in the bed and the little one said, roll over, roll over..."
Last time I posted a photo like this of Brinn, it was to share about how she had hi-jacked our bed multiple nights in a row.
Well... she's back! Every night for the last two weeks or so she's made her way into our bed one way or another. Sometimes refusing bedtime unless she can fall asleep there by herself, other times climbing in and snuggling up in the middle of the night.
This time around- no complaints here! I know this phase won't last forever. Plus we just recently upgraded to a king bed, so she can keep us 'rolling over' all she wants. Even stretched out five deep when everyone is piled in at 2am (two adults + two kids + one pupper), nobody is "falling out” anymore.
On the other hand, I am falling pretty hard for my Lens Baby, and I love the dreamy effect it brings to this image. I started off capturing a few images of her sleeping with my favorite 35mm but it just felt like something was missing. So I did a quick grab and switch with my Lens Baby Sol 45mm and was so, so pleased. Figuring out how to use it is a bit of a challenge, but when you nail it, it doesn't disappoint!
